Degree in Biology from the University of Girona (2000) and Master's Degree in Geographic Information Technologies from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2002).

Since 2000 he has collaborated with the Natural Sciences Museum of Granollers where he has actively participated in the development of web applications for various wildlife monitoring programs (diurnal butterflies, small mammals and bats) as well as contributed to numerous scientific papers and biodiversity management projects such as the Strategic Plan for the Conservation of Fauna of the Network of Natural Parks of the Diputació de Barcelona or the recently created Observatory of Natural Heritage and Biodiversity of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

At the same time, between 2002 and 2008 he worked at the European Topic Centre on Terrestrial Environment of the European Environment Agency (EEA) in the definition of standardized methodologies for the analysis of land use changes in Europe based on the cartography of the CORINE Land Cover project which where published in the report Land Accounts for Europe 1990-2000. Towards integrated land and ecosystem accounting (2006, EEA).

In 2014 he worked on the project Adaptation of the diagnosis elements of the Special Plans for the Protection of the Natural Environment and the Landscape to the Factors of Change of the European Union commissioned by the Directorate General of the Natural Environment and Biodiversity of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

He has also participated in the development of the citizen science portals Projecterius.cat of the Associcació Hàbitats and Orenetes.cat, Nius.cat, Marquesespecials.cat of the Institut Català d'Ornitologia.
